Roots of Empathy & Hope Association

Roots of Empathy & Hope Association (REHA) is a community-based organisation working to improve the lives of vulnerable individuals, families, and communities across the Nyanza Region of Kenya and beyond.

Our journey is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves dignity, opportunity, compassion, and hope. We bring together community members, faith-based organisations, humanitarian actors, development partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders to address challenges that continue to affect vulnerable communities.

Guided by our motto, “Together We Grow,” REHA believes that meaningful and lasting change is achieved when communities are not merely recipients of assistance, but active participants in identifying their needs, developing solutions, and building a better future.

Our work takes a holistic, community-driven approach. We focus on education and sponsorship, support for orphans and vulnerable families, youth and talent development, healthcare, economic empowerment, humanitarian assistance, advocacy, rehabilitation, and environmental stewardship.

We work particularly with children and young people, orphans, widows and widowers, persons living with disabilities, vulnerable households, and other members of the community who face social or economic challenges.

Through partnerships and community engagement, we seek to create opportunities that strengthen families, empower individuals, and build resilient communities. Whether through supporting a child's education, nurturing a young person's talent, assisting a vulnerable family, promoting access to healthcare, or supporting sustainable livelihoods, our goal is to ensure that no one is left behind.
